Welcome to the Eye Care specialists section of the website
SeeAbility and other leading eye health organisations and visual impairment charities have supported the Local Optical Committee Support Unit (LOCSU) to develop a new Eye Care Pathway for Adults and Young People with Learning Disabilities.
In this section optometrists and eye care specialists can access specialist information specifically about examining people with learning disabilities. Through our relationship with Healthcare Optical and Replay Learning optometrists have the opportunity to undertake on-line training and to acquire ‘CET’ points

We regret that the CET points are currently unavailable.
Optometrists have the opportunity to identify their commitment and interest in working with people with learning disabilities through registering their practice with Look Up.
SeeAbility's eye
2 eye Campaign is working with Kay Pictures and is pleased to offer optometrists and orthoptists a 50% discount on the list price of any Kay Picture vision tests.
The offer is only available to professionals who have registered on the Look Up database or have in the past undertaken Healthcall Optical's CET: Examining People with Learning Disabilities. To receive your discount Kay Picture Tests, go to
