Examining People with Learning Disabilities
Look up is delighted to host this document. It appears here as a result of the relationship between SeeAbility and Healthcall Optical. Although initially intended for those providing a domiciliary service, the information contained in the document is highly relevant for any practitioner who sees people with learning disabilities, and we are sure that every optometrist will gain something from it, to the benefit of people using their service.
In 2007 SeeAbility launched Look Up as an information resource on eye care and vision for people with learning disabilities. Look Up is therefore pleased to have the opportunity to link with Healthcall Optical and Replay Learning.
The document has been split into sections. At the end of the document registrants will find two tests. We regret that CET points are no longer available upon completion of these tests.
We would like to thank Dawn Roberts of Healthcall Optical, Gordon Ilett and Margaret Woodhouse for their superb piece of work in writing the document, and Laura Davidson at Replay Learning for collating and producing this booklet.
